The Green Business Program was created in 2008 to assist businesses in Shoreline to operate in an environmentally efficient manner, and to recognize and promote businesses that meet environmental compliance and conservation criteria.

This program was made possible through a partnership between King County, the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce and the City of Shoreline. The program is being administered with the help of Shoreline Solar Project.
