Stellar Event Rentals was the first business to become certified by the Shoreline Green Business Program. Owner founder Jim Baker found a way to greatly reduce the volume of water he requires in his cleaning process without compromising on quality. Recycling, repurposing and energy conservation are part of the daily operations at Stellar Event Rentals.

Cats Exclusive
From the very beginning, Cats Exclusive set a high bar for using efficient design, internal processes and using Cats_Exclusive_Logoenvironmentally friendly materials. In 2007 they embarked on a company wide audit of all of their supplies, energy usage and practices of handling waste. Audits are conducted annually to find new ways of conserving resources. In 2009 they became an EnviroStars certified business and currently have the highest rating possible of five stars.
The changes made over time, such as switching from Xray to digital technology means greater conservation of resources but also a healthier environment for cats, clients and staff.

Barefoot Imprint
is a family run local company that has been doing screen printing and promotional product printing since 2006. A capital investment for a direct tobfworld2011 garment printer allows them to print in multiple colors at once to accurately duplicate photographs or any graphic design on to a garment.
Over time they have found ways to green up their operations. The switch to the new printer means a better quality product using less ink and less cleaning material.
In this process "the ink becomes part ot the garment and allows the fabric to breath. This is great for Fire, Police Departments and anyone else who cannot have a flamable surface on their clothing."
Barefoot Imprint also switched to non-toxic inks and when ever possible use promotional products made from recycled materials.
